The people of Shengal will come together in popular assemblies and institutions in villages and sub-districts to follow the historic call to be made by the Kurdish people’s leader, Abdullah Öcalan, today.

After the call to be conveyed by the İmralı Delegation in Istanbul, the people will travel from village to village in a convoy of vehicles.

A celebration event will be held in Qilbet and Shamal centers. A screen will be set up at the Shengal People's Assembly. After watching the statement there, people will tour around the city in convoys of vehicles and come back to the assembly building for the celebration.

People from Tilizêr, Sîba Şêx Xidir and surrounding villages will gather in assemblies and institutions and after the statement, they will attend the joint celebrations in the center of Shengal.

People will listen to the historic call in the Shamal area in the assemblies and institutions.

Êzidxan Youth Union, young people, all institutions of the Autonomous Administration and the people of Shengal are ready to welcome Öcalan’s call.
