The initiative by the people came after the soldiers’ continued prevention of ambulances to the scene.
Accompanied by HDP Şırnak Parliamentarian Faysal Sarıyıldız, nearly 50 people gathered in front of Cizre Municipality and began to march to Sur neighborhood. Police forces stopped the crowd with armored vehicles, and attacked the crowd with teargas. Many civilians fainted due to the gas, and the crowd was forced to return to Cizre Municipality.
