Police have fired a bomb near a group of children playing outside in Fatihpaşa neighborhood of Amed's Sur district Monday afternoon.

Five children have been wounded in the deliberate attack by police, and taken under treatment at Diyarbakır Selahattin Eyyubi State Hospital.

Two brothers among the children have been wounded heavily and are reported to be in critical condition. They have been referred to Dicle University Medical Faculty Hospital.
