Police forces searched for “tunnels” in the houses and workplaces that are located around official institutions and outposts in Şırnak's Cizre district today.

Special operations police also joined the mission during which all the houses were searched in detail and photographed.

Police demanded that the wells in the gardens of some houses should be filled, stating that houses would be monitored periodically.

The Turkish state does not seem to know what to do after PKK’s impactful actions. A similar search was conducted previously in Amed after the PKK dug a tunnel under the Police School building and carried out a huge action in Bağlar district on April 11.
