As the search started by police after yesterday morning's raid on Ağrı's Doğubeyazıt District Municipality continues in its second day, police forces have prevented the municipal workers from entering the building this morning on the grounds of the “ongoing search”.

In the meantime, 13 people including Co-mayors Delal Tekdemir and Murah Rohat Özbay, who were detained yesterday morning, are still held at Doğubeyazot Uluyol Police Directorate.

On the other hand, Ağrı's Tutak district co-mayor Fırat Öztürk and 10 other people, who were detained in a recent political genocide operation, are held at Ağrı Police Directorate.

Three other people are reportedly sought in the scope of the same investigation.
