Preparations for a comprehensive military operation in Amed countryside
The Turkish army is reported to have made intensive military deployment in the rural parts of Amed’s Dicle district over the past 2 days.
A number of soldiers have been transported to Amed’s Dicle district with helicopters since Tuesday morning. Local sources report that a comprehensive military operation will be carried out and villagers are concerned over the ongoing military activities in the region.
The villages that have received military deployment are: Şingrig (Yokuşlu), Xaçek (Taşağıl), Behro (Behroboğaz), Heridan (Kırkpınar) and Pirejman (Kurşunlu).
