The public prosecutor who went to Cudi neighborhood after the pause in curfew attacks in Cizre refused to enter the basement of savagery with the excuse of 'lack of life safety'.
A public prosecutor arrived at Bostancı Street in Cudi neighborhood to inspect the basement of savagery where state forces massacred tens of people. Despite the company of police officers and lawyers, the prosecutor refused to enter the basement of building numbered 23, with the excuse of 'lack of life safety'.
Crime scene investigators entered the aforementioned basement, but lawyers and civil society representatives were prevented from entering the building. Lawyers who were prevented from accompanying crime scene investigators emphasized that the investigation was merely theatrical. Crime scene investigation police later inspected two other basements of savagery where state forces executed civilians, and collected hair samples, believed to be belonging to a woman, from the basement in Bostancı Street. Residents of Bostancı Street later found bones believed to be belonging to two people in a nearby house, and crime scene investigation officers retrieved these bones.
