PUK gathers to determine candidate for President of Iraq
The PUK administration has gathered in Sulaymaniyah to determine the party’s candidate for President of Iraq. Five names stand out for the candidacy.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) administration is expected to announce the party’s presidential candidate for Iraq after the meeting today in Sulaymaniyah.
The names standing out in PUK circles are Politbureau member Mele Bextiyar, Democracy and Justice Coalition Chairperson Berhem Salih, Mihemed Sabîr, Letîf Reshîd and Fûad Mahsum.
