PUK presidential candidate Berhem Salih resigns from the party
PUK’s Presidential Candidate for Iraq, and Chairperson of the Democracy and Justice Coalition, Berhem Salih, has officially resigned from his party.
The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has nominated Dr. Berhem Salih as the official presidential candidate for the Iraqi Presidency earlier today.
The Democracy and Justice Coalition Founders' Committee member Muhammed Rauf stated in a press conference that Berhem Salih and some members of the coalition have resigned.
Rauf said the Coalition will not collapse and will continue its works, adding that they will hold an expansive meeting in the soonest time to discuss the execution manner and future of the Coalition.
