PUK Public Order Forces in Sulaymaniyah prevent people from marching against Turkish attacks
The PUK Public Order Forces in Sulaymaniyah attacked the people who wanted to protest the invasion attacks and detained 25-30 people.
The PUK Public Order Forces in Sulaymaniyah attacked the people who wanted to protest the invasion attacks and detained 25-30 people.
Tevgera Azadi wanted to organize a protest in the city of Sulaymaniyah in South Kurdistan to protest the invasion attacks organized by the Turkish in Medya Defense Areas.
The people who came together were prevented by the PUK asayish (Public Order Forces) said that "the order came from above, we cannot allow this action.”
Despite the negotiations, the PUK Public Order Forces did not allow the demonstration. Instead they attacked the people and detained 25-30 people.
Those detained are currently being held in the Sulaymaniyah Police Station.
