In his message on the occasion of the PYD's 10th Congress, Bafil Talabani of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) emphasised the need for coordination and cooperation more than ever to protect national rights and gains.
Bafil Talabani congratulated the 10th congress of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) on behalf of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.
Talabani said, “Your congress was organised in a sensitive period as our region and the Middle East are going through great difficulties. We need coordination and cooperation more than ever to protect our national rights and gains.”
Talabani's message further stated the following: “We believe that there is no problem that cannot be solved through dialogue. Just as we state that stability cannot be achieved in the Middle East without solving the Kurdish question, the best option for the outstanding developments is a peaceful solution and negotiation. I hope that all parties will return to the dialogue table. We believe in coexistence and cooperation. I sincerely believe that the PYD Congress will succeed in all tests. We hope that the proposals you have presented and the decisions you have taken will serve the high aims of the Kurdish people and the common life of all peoples.”
