QANDIL VILLAGERS ANGRY AT THE TURKISH STATE
The villagers in Qandil ANF spoke to after last night’s aerial attack expressed their anger at the Turkish state for bombing their living spaces.
“WE WILL PRESS CHARGES AS THE QANDIL RESIDENTS”
One of the villagers, Heci Resul said, “Turkish jets are bombing Qandil day and night. They have left us with no peace. Our children go to bed in fear. We do not accept this.”
Another local resident Mamoste Bılind said, “We Xobyan villagers deal with agriculture and husbandry mostly. But Turkish fighter jets don’t allow this in Qandil. They want to scare the villagers with these aerial attacks. They are inhibiting daily life with these bombings day and night. Turkish jets drop bombs close to homes. We can’t go to our work in the morning. We as the residents of Qandil will press charges, they should stop bombing our villages. The people can’t plant their orchards or gardens. Our gardens are being hit. These attacks must end immediately.”
