Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of Federal Kurdistan Region, “fiercely” condemned the killing of Yasin Bulut (Şükrü Serhat), a member of the PKK Solidarity Committee with the Families of Martyrs in Sulaymaniyah.
Yasin Bulut, a long-time member of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) Solidarity Committee with the Families of Martyrs, was shot dead in Sulaymaniyah this morning.
According to the reports of media outlets close to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Vice Prime Minister Qubad Talabani made a statement regarding the murder of Yasin Bulut.
Talabani said, “I fiercely condemn the killing of Şükrü Serhat. I call on security forces to search for the killers to be brought to account before the court.”
Defining Sulaymaniyah as a city of stability and peace, Talabani said, “Everyone can lead a peaceful life here without any discrimination.”
