Reports are coming through that an armed confrontation broke out in the area of the military operation launched by the Turkish army recently in the region of Mount Gabar in the countryside of Şırnak’s Güçlükonak district.

According to local sources, some soldiers have been killed or wounded during the clash and these have been taken to Şırnak Public Hospital.

Reports suggest that clashes continue in the operation zone amid strikes by Turkish jets.
