The hunger strike protesting the isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan continues on day 105 in Hewler.
HDP Member Nasir Yagiz, who has been on an indefinite non-alternating hunger strike for 105 days in Hewler, continues his protest despite serious health issues.
A committee of representatives from Rojava cantons and PYD Southern Kurdistan Representation members visited the hunger strike in Hewler.
Mizgin Hisen spoke in the name of the committee and said: “The protest you have started is sacred. Kurds in all four parts of Kurdistan should stand united against the invasion. We fought for years for the gains in Rojava, and the Kurdish people should protect these gains.”
HDP Southern Kurdistan Representation Office Co-chair Muzeyen Gunes thanked the committee and said: “Your visit has given us strength. We will continue the protest until the isolation is broken.”
