SDF forces operation to liberate Raqqa continues step by step. Gré Spî Regional Command issued a statement on the goals of the operation and warned that Raqqa has become a threat to the entire world.

As part of the "Operation Liberate North Raqqa," Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) liberated two villages between Fatse and Waste 5 km away from Eyn Îsa from ISIS gangs today at 08:30. SDF fighters had liberated Qirtaca village to the south of Eyn Îsa yesterday.
In a press release nearby the Şagragê Wheat Storage yesterday, the SDF Command had announced the beginning of the "Operation Liberate North Raqqa." SDF commanders Rojda Felat and Ebû Feyad had stated that all SDF battalions and the warplanes of the international coalition would participate in the operation, which was requested by the region’s residents.
SDF commander Feyad said that their goal was to save the region’s residents from the cruelty of ISIS gangs. The liberation operation constitutes a revolutionary response to the attacks on civilians in Cizir, Grê Spî and Kobanê.
LAUNCHED IN RESPONSE TO PEOPLE’S REQUEST
ISIS gangs had occupied Aleppo’s Raqqa city since 2014. The operation aims to liberate an area 50-60 kms away from Raqqa.
Arabs are the majority of the region’s residents. SDF forces launched the liberation operation in response to these people’s request.
'WE WILL CUT THE SUPPLY ROUTES OF ISIS GANGS'
Gré Spî Regional Command stated that its goal was to cut the supply roots that connect ISIS to other parts of Syria and Iraq, and corner the gangs. The command noted that gangs affiliated with the Syrian National Coalition imposed Sharia law in Raqqa when they had control of the town between 2011 and 2014, and the town had even a more ‘radical Islamist’ character after the ISIS occupation in 2014. The command emphasized that Raqqa has become a threat to the entire world, and jihadist from around the globe come to Raqqa where beheadings, torture, stoning and executions have become common practice.
THE LIBERATION INITIATIVE CONTINUES
Currently, SDF forces attack ISIS positions in Mitşerce village 5 kms away from Eyn Îsa with heavy weaponry. SDF forces killed 23 gangs around Mitşerce village and liberated Nemrudiyê village from ISIS.
