The attacks of ENKS and SNC (Syrian National Coalition) affiliated gang groups on Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo continue uninterrupted since February 16. Conditions for the residents of the neighborhood are becoming severer under the aggression and embargo of the gang groups.
Only 11 of the total 60 pharmacies in the neighborhood are open but these have run out of almost all stocks of medicine.
Doctors and pharmacists in the neighborhood who voice concerns over the risk of an epidemic due to the exhaustion of medicine are yet to be answered for the repeated calls they made to the international public opinion before.
Pharmacist Suheyb Mihemed stated that they have run out of almost all medicine for cardiac disease, high blood pressure and diabetes, and that they cannot supply medicine due to the embargo on the neighborhood.
Heyva Sor a Kurd Health Center staff reported already emerging epidemics among children and risks of death for some residents suffering from diseases.
