Six detained during soldiers' raids in Amed’s villages
Six people including a 70-year-old man were detained during raids conducted by soldiers in villages of Amed.
Soldiers conducted house raids in several villages of Amed’s Bismil and Çınar districts Tuesday morning. At least six people were detained and many others are sought as part of the operation.
While it is not known where the detainees have been taken, some of those confirmed to have been detained are:
Mecit Ekin (60) and Selim Akalp (35) in Sarı Toprak (Hola) village of Bismil,
Mahsun Güler (40) in Göksu (Kerxa Macıra) village of Bismil,
Three people, including 70 years old H. Abdurrahman Şimşek in Başaklı (Hüceti) village of Çınar.
