HPG and YJA Star guerrillas carried out an action targeting the Turkish soldiers positioned on Alişer hill in Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district at 09:00 Tuesday morning.

The soldiers engaged in sweeping efforts on the slopes of the hill were hit by guerrillas from two directions. Following an hour of clashes, the soldiers were forced to retreat to the bottom of the hill. Guerrillas hit the hill with heavy weaponry till the evening hours.

According to information local sources provided ANF with, 6 soldiers of the Turkish army were killed and many others got wounded here.
