With the strengthening of the precipitation and temperature drop in Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhilat), snow continues to fall. In the provinces of Urmia, Sine (Sanandaj), Hamedan and Kermashan, it is snowing on the second day, while snowfall has started in the heights of Ilam, Lorestan, Chaharmahal, Bakhtiari, Kohkiluyeh and Boyerahmad.

At the moment traffic is not possible in the axes of the Marivan-Sanandaj, Divandara-Saghez, Solav-Horaman and Saghez-Baneh roads without wheel chains.

Sanandaj’s Provincial Bureau of Transportation urged citizens to equip their vehicles with chain wheels if they were traveling outside the city.
