Turkish state continues to desecrate the graves of fallen Kurdish freedom fighters.
In the province of Bingöl in North Kurdistan, Turkish soldiers entered the cemetery in the village of Pakuni (Yamaç) on Monday and tore down the tombstone of HPG guerrilla Eşref Çelik (Eğit) who had lost his life in 1997.
Soldiers then raided the home of Çelik family and seized the photographs, cassettes and CDs, threatening the family to not write “martyr” on the tombstone of their son.
