Soldiers deployed in military lodge in Silopi district of Şırnak shot a woman who went out to visit a neighbour of hers in Yeşiltepe neighborhood Monday evening.

The 23-year-old woman by the name of Latife Tutuk was heavily wounded as a result of the armed attack, after which she was taken to Silopi State Hospital by the people around.

Despite all the medical efforts, the woman didn't survive and lost her life at hospital.

Tutuk's body will reportedly be taken to Şırnak State Hospital for post-mortem.
