The South Kurdistan Patriotic Youth Movement and the Revolutionary Young Women's Movement made a statement by the grave of PKK Central Committee Member Kasım Engin on the first anniversary of his martyrdom.
Young people answered Komalen Ciwan's call for mobilization against the Turkish invasion.
Recalling that the Turkish state expanded its attacks in Kurdistan, the statement emphasized that the Turkish state used foreign mercenaries to achieve its goal and that the biggest obstacle was the PKK and freedom guerrillas.
The statement recalled the invasion attacks against Zap, Avashin and Metina and stressed that the Turkish state would receive major blows in these regions, as in Heftanîn and Garê.
'SHOULDER TO SHOULDER WITH THE GUERILLA'
The youth of South Kurdistan pointed out that the Turkish state carried out its attacks with the approval of international and regional powers. The Turkish state used chemical weapons in Mamreşo and Avaşin, as in Halabja, Serdeş and Balisanê in past. Numerous guerrillas were martyred because of chemical weapons.
The youth also criticized the Kurdistan regional government, saying, "They do not respond to the Turkish invasion."
“We have decided to fight against the enemy shoulder to shoulder with the guerrilla. We will not allow the enemy's dirty plans to be realized," the statement concluded.
