Youths from South Kurdistan are going to march on February 10 against the International Conspiracy that targeted Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan on February 15, 1999.
In a statement calling for strong participation in the protest, the committee said “Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan was handed over to the Turkish state through an international conspiracy 18 years ago. No conspiracy on Earth is like the one that was carried out against Öcalan. It was a conspiracy that defied morality, law and humanity The international conspiracy was carried out against the Kurdish people in the person of Öcalan, and against everyone else that demand freedom.”
CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
In its statement, the committee described the isolation of Öcalan as ‘an inhumane conspiracy’ and said "Our main responsibility is to condemn this conspiracy on its anniversary. For this reason, we call upon the youth in South Kurdistan, particularly those in Sulaymaniyah and neighboring provinces, to join our march to Hewler that will begin at the Nali Park in Sulaymaniyah on Friday."
