Some houses were set on fire by state forces in Hakkari’s Yüksekova (Gever) district, where the bombing continues. As the neighborhood of Eski Kışla was surrounded by armored vehicles, special operation units set a group of 4 houses on fire late yesterday evening and they stopped the fire department from intervening. Black smoke rose to the sky around the houses in the neighborhood.

The mortar and artillery fire continued through the day in Güngör and Cumhuriyet neighborhoods where the popular resistance for self-rule continues. Some clashes break out between state forces trying to enter the neighborhoods and YPS/YPS-JIN members protecting their living areas.
