According to reports, state forces conducted a raid on Arcanya hamlet in Sulak (Bafê) village 15 km to Şırnak's İdil district in the early morning hours today.

Relatives of villagers told ANF that state forces entered the village with over 100 military vehicles.

While Turkish forces have blocked the entry and exit points in the village, telephone services have also been interrupted. A local whose relatives were detained and tortured stated that villagers were subjected to violence, some were injured and six were taken into custody.

Those detained in the raid are reported to be Ramazan Sekmen Uray, Resul Sekmen Uray, Hakim Sekmen Uray, Selahattin Sekmen Uray, Şefa Terkin and Emin Terkin.

Reports sugges that minors Xemgin Sekmen Uray, Neçirvan Sekmen Uray and Emin Terkin suffered brutal violence and 15 years old Xemgin Sekmen Uray has been hospitalized.
