Rojava's Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) issued a written statement calling upon international institutions to adopt an attitude against the Turkish state's inhuman practices targeting the people of West Kurdistan.
The TEV-DEM statement underlined that; "The AKP/Erdoğan state has continuously updated and pursued its occupant policies in the region since the beginning of the crisis in Syria. The AKP/Erdoğan state's relations with the ISIS gangs were also highlighted in the reports of various international institutions."
TEV-DEM reported that the AKP/Erdoğan state murdered 36 civilians and wounded 48 others on Rojava-Bakuré Kurdistan border, most of whom were women and children. The statement said the AKP/Erdoğan state furthermore made efforts to seize the Rojava lands and add them to its own.
Remarking that even the olive trees got their share from the attacks of the AKP/Erdoğan state, TEV-DEM said hundreds of olive trees were uprooted by forces of the Turkish state.
"YPG/YPJ headquarters and emplacements were also targeted by attacks of the AKP/Erdoğan state which maintains its aggressive attitude and Kurdish enmity despite the ceasefire. Unfavorable cases would have emerged had the Rojava's defense forces retaliated to this irrational aggressiveness of the AKP/Erdoğan state".
TEV-DEM condemned these inhuman attacks of the Turkish state and called upon the UN, HRW and all international institutions to break the silence on this aggressiveness of the AKP/Erdoğan state and stop them. TEV-DEM added that they expected the United Nations to adopt a clearer attitude on this issue.
