TEV-DEM: The meeting in Urfa is a disgrace

TEV-DEM Executive Board stated that the KDP, KNC, AKP, and Turkish Intelligence Agency held a meeting in Urfa in enmity to Rojava.
TEV-DEM Executive Board issued a written statement and said that the KDP, KNC, AKP, and Turkish Intelligence Agency held a meeting in Urfa in enmity to Rojava. TEV-DEM noted that the participants of the meeting are Turkish Intelligence agents, and described the meeting as a disgrace. TEV-DEM emphasized that Kurdish people would not forget the meeting aiming to eliminate Rojava revolution, and prevent the participants of the meeting from reaching their goals.
In its statement, TEV-DEM noted that historic developments were taking place in the history of Kurdistan, and Kurdish, Arab, Assyrian, Turkmen, and Chechen peoples were institutionalizing their will for democracy under the roof of the Syrian Democratic Assembly. TEV-DEM noted that Syrian Democratic Forces’ defense impacted the developments in the region, and all peoples and faith groups have made sacrifices and put up an epic resistance for a democratic, free, and equal life.
TEV-DEM praised peoples’ resistance against regime, Al-Nusra and ISIS forces, and said that young women and men from different peoples and nationalities were fighting for Rojava revolution. The executive board criticized those that have betrayed their people, land, and water for personal interests, and said that the KDP formed a group consisting of such people aiming to eliminate Rojava revolution.
TEV-DEM stated that the KDP, KNC, and Turkish Intelligence members met in Urfa, North Kurdistan in enmity towards Rojava, and were led by Abdulaziz Temo. TEV-DEM said that these people were responsible for the martyrdom of Xebat Dêrîk and other freedom fighters, and described the meeting in Urfa as provocative and disgraceful. The board criticized the collaboration of the Turkish state and the KDP, and said that the participants of the meeting were responsible for the massacres carried out in Qamishlo, Nusaybin, Cizira Botan, and Sur. TEV-DEM recalled the Turkish state’s shelling of Rojava and the gangs’ attacks on Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, and said that the KDP and SNC were as responsible as the Turkish Intelligence Agency for these attacks.
TEV-DEM emphasized that Kurdish people would not forget the role of the allies of the AKP and Erdoğan, and bring these collaborators to justice. Lastly, TEV-DEM stated that it would continue to build the Democratic Confederation of North Syria with determination and responsibility, and called upon civilians to be wary of the dirty policies of this alliance and build coalitions in order to defeat the plans of Erdoğan and his collaborators.
