Co-chair of South Kurdistan’s Tevgera Azadi (Freedom Movement) Mihemed Abdullah made a press statement on Saturday to mark the sixth anniversary of the founding of the party.
Abdullah highlighted the following: “We have always manifested our reaction against violence against women and the dire circumstances surrounding the country, and we will continue to do so. During the past six years, we have presented solution projects dealing with the challenging conditions experienced by the people and the territories included in Article 140. The government is establishing wrongful relations and is in the phase of collapse. It is sacrificing Kurdish gains every day in order not to lose the power.”
Abdullah made the following appeal to intellectuals, artists and the people; “Let’s organise our system all together. We must establish an opposition front and put pressure on the government for the solution of the problems.”
