Tevgera Azadi delivers aid materials for earthquake victims to Heyva Sor

Kurdish organisations continue their mobilization for victims of the two Maraş-centered earthquakes that devastated parts of North Kurdistan, Turkey and Syria on February 6.

The Freedom Movement (Tevgera Azadi), which has been collecting aid for earthquake victims in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq), delivered the supplies to the Kurdish Red Crescent, Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê, in Sulaymaniyah city on Sunday.

In a statement during the handover of the aid materials, Tevgera Azadi Co-chair Tara Hüseyin said, “We thank Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê for delivering aid to the earthquake victims in Rojava and North Kurdistan.”

Heyva Sor a Kurdistanê Sulayamaniyah Office Executive Xesan Hesen said: “We thank Tevgera Azadi for what it has done for the Kurds. With this initiative, Tevgera Azadi proved its national loyalty.”
