The invasion attacks launched by the Turkish army against Medya Defense Areas on Sunday continue.

The HPG/YJA Star guerrillas, who responded to the attacks, killed 12 of the soldiers who wanted to advance in Werxelê.

The HPG Press Center shared the following statement regarding the ongoing resistance against the Turkish army in Avaşîn: “On 18 April at 9.40 am, the invaders wanted to advance in Werxelê in the Avaşîn region. They were hit by our forces with individual and hand grenades. During the clashes, 12 invaders were killed.”
