Police forces raided the municipality of Amed's Lice district yesterday evening when there was no personnel inside. Following the raid, police surrounded the municipal building and the district governorate with barriers.

The municipal personnel came to work in the morning to be denied access inside on the grounds of an “ongoing search inside”. It grabbed attention that police told the workers “Get in, open the doors of your rooms and then go home, do not wait here”.

Following the preparations ongoing since, Lice District Governor Sinan Başak has been assigned as a trustee to the municipality this morning.
