According to local sources, the HPG guerrillas carried out an assassination action against Turkish soldiers based on Elişer Hill on September 15, at 14:30. At least three Turkish soldiers were killed in the action.

The Turkish army removed the casualties with Sikorsky helicopters afterwards.

ACTION AGAINST MILITARY CONVOY

Also in the rural areas of Gever, a Turkish military convoy was targeted by roadside explosives. The incident took place yesterday and the bomb squad in front of the convoy was targeted.

Local sources said the Turkish army had casualties in this incident as well.

OREMAR UNDER BOMBARDMENT

The Oremar region in Gever is under bombardment as part of the operation that was launched on September 11. Turkish army’s jet fighters and helicopters bombed the Oremar region on September 15 between 00.00 and 03.00. Fires broke out in several points while activity continues in the region.
