The HPG Press Center said the following about the action: "Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out an action against the soldiers on the Martyr Kendal Hill in the region of Xakurkê, Medya Defense Areas on 4 June. Three soldiers were killed and one wounded.

One person working with Turkish forces punished

Our forces have punished a person named Orhan, who has been working with the invading Turkish army for a long time, betraying the values ​​of our people by carrying out counter activities and giving intelligence for the air strikes. He also played a role in the martyrdom of 4 of our comrades near the village of Talê in Hakkari on 3 June. The invading Turkish army has removed the bodies of this person from the area with the support of unmanned aerial vehicles and attack helicopters.”

The statement added: “On the evening of 4 June, the invading Turkish army fighter jets bombed the Geliyê Alavin area in Medya Defense Areas, connected to the Avasin region. We did not experience any loss in these bombardments.”
