Following the arrests of DBP’s Kayapınar Co-mayor Mehmet Ali Aydın and Yenişehir Co-mayor Selim Kurbanoğlu at the court they were referred to yesterday, trustees have been appointed to both municipalities in Amed.

The decree taken in line with the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office order dated December 7 and the approval of the Ministry of the Interior appoints Kayapınar District Governor Mustafa Kılıç as a trustee to the Kayapınar Municipality. Yenişehir District Governor Mehmet Özel was appointed trustee to the Yenişehir Municipality.
