According to local sources, Turkish fighter jets shelled the region of Lolan in Sidekan district in southern Kurdistan Thursday noon.

While sources report ongoing reconnaissance activities, results of the bombardment were not immediately available.

Villagers in Bradost region state that Turkish aerial activity in the region continues uninterrupted during recent days.
