Turkish air raid on a village in southern Kurdistan

The Turkish Air Force has bombed the village of Bêdehê in southern Kurdistan. Among other things, a historic mill was destroyed. The inhabitants of the village are angry.

Regardless of the world public, the Turkish state continues its cross-border attacks on South Kurdistan. The civilian population suffers most from the invasion. In the bombing of the village Bêhehê near Kanimasi, among other things, a historic mill was destroyed.

Nasreddîn Bêdehê from the village is angry. Every morning he is awakened by grenades. "Recently, our garden has been bombed by fighter jets. Real Muslims do not do that. A Muslim would never bombard the homes and gardens of poor people during the month of fasting Ramadan. In Islam, it is forbidden to kill each other. Erdoğan, however, kills Kurds every day. In my opinion, everyone should now know the true face of Erdoğan,"he says.

Even the historic mill in the village has become the target of Turkish air strikes, explains the villager. "The mill was being used by all. Not only did it serve as a livelihood, but it was also the ideological legacy of our ancestors. We sometimes stay in the city, but we always come back to the village. Now the mill is destroyed. Erdoğan is a fascist. We want to tell everyone who stands up for humanity that we demand justice."

"Our history was destroyed with a single grenade"

Egîd Bêdehê from the same village reports that Turkish jets fly over the region 24 hours a day. "Look at the work of the Turkish state," he tells us. "The Turkish army attacks the civilian population on a daily basis and claims afterwards that the guerrillas have been bombed. However, this area belongs to us. It is our home and our story is hidden here. Now everything is destroyed. With a single grenade our story has been destroyed. We do not accept this situation and call on international forces to intervene. The Erdoğan fascism must finally be stopped."
