Turkish jets shelled Qandil area of Medya Defense Zones four times as of 21:00 local time yesterday evening. The strikes also hit the village of Bole and the area known as the former headquarters of Doctor Qasimlo.
The aerial attacks caused a damage in the houses and fields of the local people and started a fire which could be extinguished thanks to the efforts of villagers.
The roads leading to the village were devastated as a result of the bombardment which also caused a power cut in the area.
Reports say the airstrikes luckily resulted in no losses of life among civilians and guerrillas affiliated to HPG (People's Defense Forces).
An activity of Turkish jets also took place over Metina, Xakurke and Xinere areas of PKK-held Medya Defense Zones.
