Cobra attack helicopters of the invading Turkish army bombed the village of Banike in Heftanin and its surroundings. A fire started as a result of the rockets fired into the area. The fire spread to the village cemetery.
The attack started at 10.30 pm and lasted until 11.20 pm on Friday night. People tried to extinguish the fire.
The village of Banike is located in the lower part of the Dupişk and Mininê areas.
