According to information obtained from local sources, the invading Turkish army has bombed the surroundings of villages in Heftanin region of Zakho city in South Kurdistan.

The bombardment with howitzer and mortar fire targeted the surroundings of Keşan, Orê and Kumrê villages, starting a fire in the forested land in the mentioned region.

In the meantime, the fire started by bombardments launched from the Turkish border posts in Çukurca district of Hakkari, continues.
