Turkish miltary aircrafts are damaging the nature in Kurdistan with every attack they carry out against Kurds. Hundreds of years old trees were destroyed in a bombing in Gare region.

The all-out war waged by the AKP government against Kurds does also include an aggression against nature of Kurdistan lands. The Turkish military is damaging the nature in Kurdistan with the random bombings they carry out in every chance they get. In mortar and howitzer shellings and bombings from military aircraft, the forested areas in the first place suffer great damages.

One of these bombings was on March 14, in the Gare region of guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zoeas. As can be seen in the photographs, the forest suffered great damages in the bombing. Hundreds of years old trees are fallen and burnt.
