YPG Media Center announced that the Turkish army continues to attack Rojava. In its statement, YPG said that Turkish soldiers attacked the Ziyaret village to the west of Kobanê and the villages of Koran and Yapsê to the east of Kobanê with heavy weaponry on May 28.

YPG also said that ISIS gangs attacked the positions of Erka Xwe Parastin units in Shedadi’s Mekmen village at 14:30 on May 28, but were forced to retreat after an hour of clashes. The Media Center stated that ISIS gangs attacked the positions of Erka Xwe Parastin to the southeast of Eyn Îsa  on the same day.

YPG noted that ISIS gangs attacked the Lower Şêxler town at 15:00 and Upper Şêxler town at 19:00 on May 28 from their positions to the south of Jarablus. The gangs also attacked the village of Qereqozax to the south of Şêxler between 17:00 and 17:30 on the same day.

Lastly, YPG said that ISIS gangs attacked the area to the west of Kobanê's Tişrîn dam between 09:00 and 11:00, and the area to the east of Tişrîn dam between 12:00 and 13:00 on May 28 with heavy weaponry.
