Special operations gendarme (JÖH) teams have been transported with cargo planes to Şerafettin Elçi Airport in Şırnak's İdil district today. The JÖH teams will reportedly participate in the military operations launched in Besta and Kato Jîrka regions on April 18.
The troops were then delivered to Cizre district with 20 armored vehicles under strict security measures, and they were later transported to the 23rd Gendarme Border Division in Şırnak.
