Turkish army launches operation in three villages of Lice, Amed
The operation zone involves three villages in the countryside of Amed (Diyarbakır) province.
A military operation has been launched in the area involving the villages of Arıklı (Huseynik), Uçarlı (Firdês) and Serince (Pîrik) in Lice district of Amed. Military checkpoints have been set up on the roads leading to the mentioned villages.
A number of soldiers are partaking in the operation while no information is available yet of armed confrontation in the area.
