Turkish troops are launching mortar attacks on the surroundings of two cemeteries of guerrillas in Lice district of Amed.

The rural areas surrounding the 'Martyr Amed and Martyr Hêvîdar Cemetery' in Sisé (Yolcati) neighborhood of Lice, and the 'Martyr Harun Cemetery' in Speyni (Birlik) neighborhood are being targeted by mortar attacks launched by Turkish troops at Higher Security and Tapantepe guard post affiliated to Duru guard post.

Human shields keep waiting in the area despite the attacks going on for days.

Soon after the declaration of inaction by KCK on October 10, Turkish jets conducted an airstrike in the area of 'Martyr Amed and Martyr Hêvîdar Cemetery' at the night of October 11, as a result of which eight guerrillas affiliated to HPG and YJA Star lost their lies.

The human shields in the area found the bodies of eight guerrillas and laid them to rest in the cemetery.
