Turkish artillery attacks start a fire in Bitlis countryside

Artillery attacks of the Turkish army in the countryside of Bitlis province started a fire in a forested land and caused panic among the local people.

Turkish troops are conducting intense artillery attacks on the countryside of Mergelo region near the Narlıdere (Kasrik) village of Bitlis province, Northern Kurdistan.

The random attacks started a fire in the forested land in this region which houses several civilian settlements. While the fire continues, local people are panicked due to the attacks, and concerned for their security of life.

The mentioned territory is targeted by the Turkish army with artillery fire for the past one week.
