The invading Turkish state continues its attacks against southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.
According to reports, Turkish warplanes shelled the surroundings of Mount Zerke in Amadiya region of Duhok. No details were immediately available regarding the results of the bombardment which was carried out at 10:00 Monday morning.
The Turkish state has been attacking South Kurdistan region for months, systematically targeting civilian areas. Prohibited weapons such us cluster munition have also been used in Turkey’s attacks that harm local people the most. Dozens of civilians have been victims of Turkey’s aerial bombardments and artillery attacks so far.
Artillery attack by the Turkish army claimed the life of a young woman in Barzan region last Saturday.
