Reports are coming through of intense helicopter activity over the Cudi and Gabar mountain range as the operation launched by the Turkish army in Cudi region yesterday continues.

Turkish F-16 jets have also joined the operation and shelled areas around the village of Hesena (Kösreli) near Mount Cudi.

Turkish army continues to dispatch troops to the operation zone.
