Turkish jets bombed guerrilla zones

The Turkish state continues its attacks against southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq as part of its genocidal war against the Kurdish people and their lands.

The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) reported continued aerial attacks by the Turkish army against guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

According to the statement by HPG Press Office, Turkish fighter jets shelled the following locations at between 10:30 and 11:30 on March 6th:

- Şikefta Birindara and Saca areas in Zap region,

- Hill Sor and Gelîyê Avaşin areas in Avashin region,

- Avdılkovi hillsides in Xakurke region.

HPG added that the attacks did not result in casualties or injuries in guerrilla ranks.
