Turkish jets are shelling Qandil area of PKK-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.

According to reports by local sources, warplanes of the Turkish state are bombing Qandil area of guerrilla zones since 11:30 local time today.

The bombardment against several separate locations began after a reconnaissance activity of Turkish drones as of early hours of the morning.

While no information was immediately available as to the results of the ongoing aerial aggression, the Turkish bombardment and drone activity in the region is reported to be ongoing.
